Breezer’s Dowtown 3 ST is the perfect accessory at the office, grocery store, and when you’re meeting friends for dinner. This nimble steel bicycle has an upright riding position with swept-back handlebars so you stay comfortable as you take in the sights. 700c wheels with wide, commuter-ready Vera tires cover ground quickly and easily. The 3-speed Shimano Nexus drivetrain requires minimal maintenance and is simple to shift even when you're stopped. The Downtown 3 is as utilitarian as it is good-looking, providing you with fenders, a rack, chainguard, and even a bell, so you’re ready for whatever the day brings.
Internal hub gearing is a gearing system built into the rear wheel hub. It allows you to shift at any time, even when not pedaling, like at a stop sign. Because the majority of parts are housed within the hub, the gearing mechanism is protected from weather and grime, and therefore requires almost no maintenance. Plus, with less external parts than a derailleur system, you’ll get consistently smooth, reliable shifts.
