An aerodynamic frame that was developed in the Win Tunnel? Check. Integrated water and storage options? You know it. The ultimate speed weapon to elevate your bike leg to the next level? Oh, yeah. The S-Works Shiv Module is the perfect canvas to start constructing your new triathlon speed demon. Its full FACT 11r carbon frame was developed in our very own Win Tunnel, and it's not only been aerodynamically optimized for straight-line speed, but it also features airfoils that have been optimized to limit side force in crosswinds. A bike can only be as fast as its rider, though, which is why we also developed the Control Tower fit system that let's you optimize your stack and reach numbers in order to find your most comfortable, powerful position for your desired length. Next up comes the Fuelselage Hydration System that houses a water- bladder inside of the frame, making it virtually invisible to the wind. And to go along with your water, the Fuelcell fits plenty of food and even has room for a flat kit. The best part of the Fuelselage and Fuelcell combination is that, when packed correctly, it cleans up the frame and saves up to 75 seconds when compared to a taped-up system. What are you waiting for? Your new PR awaits. - S-Works FACT 11r carbon frame is made with our highest quality construction methods and features crosswind-optimized airfoils for enhanced aerodynamics. Meanwhile, the Control Tower Fit System and Fuelselage Hydration System ensure that your fit and hydration are always optimized. - FACT Aero carbon fork utilizes our most advanced carbon construction methods in order to provide precise steering and rider input, while also improving overall aerodynamics. - Shiv carbon fiber seatpost cuts through the wind, adding a distinct aero advantage.

We think by now, most of you get what Straggler is. It’s a madly versatile bike that can be used for most types of riding and riding surfaces. Better still is that you now have the option of 650b wheel size. 650b wheels were popular for a long time many years ago on ‘Constructeur’ style bicycles and we all know how real stuff was back in the day…650b wheels strike a nice balance between the benefits of both 26” and 700c sizes. The smaller wheel allows smaller riders to fit well on smaller frames, produces a stronger wheel, makes fitting big-ass tires easier and are more agile than their larger counterparts. Straggler has disc caliper mounts instead of rim brake studs. It’ll accept rotors up to 160mm. The rear dropouts are unique, too. They’re a partially closed horizontal design that accommodates singlespeed or geared drivetrains. They feature stop screws that thread in from the rear to further secure the wheel and to position the rear wheel for optimal shifting, plus a forward-mounted stop screw on the drive side to keep the wheel from slipping forward under the force of your gargantuan legs. The rear dropouts are spaced 135mm instead of 132.5mm like the Cross-Check simply because there are far more options for disc hubs in this spacing. Straggler 650b has braze-ons for fenders, racks and bottle cages. The geometry is slightly different, with angles and tube lengths very close but not identical to the Cross-Check, but like the Cross-Check it’s ready to take you just about anywhere. It’s a day tripper and a weekender. It’s a ‘rough road’ road bike. It’s a cyclocross bike with no pretense about racing. It’s a utilitarian townie. It’s a light-duty touring bike. It’s an all-weather commuter. And when you get tired of one set up, you can swap parts around and turn it into something else. We think that’s pretty neat.
$649.00
So what is this Straggler anyway? The easy answer is to say that we added disc brakes to a Cross-Check and this is close to accurate. People have asked us to make a disc version of our highly versatile Cross-Check for a long time now and almost everything about the two are very similar. Straggler is slightly different, though. The most obvious difference of course is that the Straggler has disc caliper mounts instead of rim brake studs. Straggler shares all of the Cross-Check’s braze-ons for fenders, racks and bottle cages. The Straggler’s geometry is slightly different, with angles and tube lengths very close but not identical to the Cross-Check, but like the Cross-Check it’s ready to take you just about anywhere. Your little tike might love to ride, but given that they're still growing like a weed, the big-kid-trail-shredder bike can probably wait a few years. That's why Specialized made their Hotrock 20 with plenty of gear range to tackle the neighborhood hills, and enough front end travel to ride beginner's trails confidently. Of course, it also features a lightweight, yet durable, 20-inch A1 Premium Aluminum frame that's designed to take a hit while they find their legs on the pump track. Chatter and bumps, meanwhile, are handled by the coil-sprung SR Suntour fork's 50mm of travel. Then there are a whole host of other components that are plenty tough enough to stand up to your little ripper, so you can rest assured that you'll be spending more time riding with your kid and less time waiting in line at the repair counter. - Tough, light, and durable, the A1 Premium Aluminum frame is built to stand up to years of tough riding. - SR Suntour suspension fork offers 50mm of coil-sprung travel that smooths out bumpy, rough terrain. - The 7-speed Shimano Tourney shifts smoothly and is tough enough for abuse.
