NYC:

Additional Information:

We will meet in the parking lot of Blue Mountain park at 9:00am the first Saturday of every month.  This ride is designed to help people get to know the trail system at Blue.  We will start with a 30-45 minute long beginner friendly loop that brings us back to the parking lot.  During the beginner loop we will ride at an easy pace and make sure to wait for people so that no one gets lost.  following the beginner loop we will do an intermediate loop which will take about an hour.  The pace will be a bit faster and we will only be slowing down or stopping at trail intersections to make sure everyone makes the right turn.  After the intermediate loop we will go on an advanced route which will be much faster and on the most difficult trails the park has to offer.  For this ride we will not be stopping or waiting so make sure you are ready to keep up or find your own way back.

There is plenty of parking available at the park and it is an easy train ride with your bike from New York City.  The 7:45am train out of Grand Central or 7:56am train from Harlem-125th Street will arrive at Peekskill train station at 8:50.  The park is less than a 2 mile ride from the train in downtown Peekskill.

Additional Information:

This ride will leave our shop at 10AM and take the back roads up to White Plains and eventually Armonk for a stop at the coffee shop, TAZZA. We will regroup at the top of the hills and everyone will be accounted for. So...no need to think of how out of shape you're in or that you'll be dropped. Round trip mileage should be between 25-30 miles.
